IFPS-Canada/USA Signature Series events initiated in May 2011
IFPS-Canada and IFPS-USA jointly initiated its much-awaited Signature Series event in London Ontario on May 8, with a major speech by Hon. Geert Wilders, Chairman of the Party for Freedom in Holland. Headlining the event along with Mr Wilders were Sam Solomon and Rabbi Jon Hausman, with SUN-TV personality Ezra Levant as Master of Ceremony.
Said Bjorn Larsen, President of IFPS-Canada, “IFPS-Canada, along with the newly formed IFPS-USA of Boston Mass and led by Rabbi Hausman, continue to lead the way in bringing controversial viewpoints to the public at large in Canada and the US. Starting with Danish cartoonist Kurt Westergaard in late 2009, followed by Ann Coulter in early 2010 and Swedish cartoonists Lars Vilks in late 2010, we want to initiate a discussion on MultiCulturalism while continuing to focus on the issue of Free Speech. Canada has recently voted itself a Conservative majority government and we hope that our contribution to the public debate will assist the new government in deciding to eliminate hate speech codes in Canada and begin to review the public policy of MultiCulturalism, the policy now being debated all over Europe as the “failed Project”.
The Signature Series Events continued in Toronto on May 9 and Ottawa on May 10. On May 11 and 12 Mr Wilders and Mr Solomon appeared in Nashville Tennessee.
