Vilks Attacked During Seminar
On Tuesday a man attacked the artist Lars Vilks in connection with a seminar on art at Uppsala University.
The atmosphere was calm at the beginning, Uppsala Nya Tidning reports. When Vilks showed a movie with sexual content the atmosphere became tense.
“The man in the first row suddenly rushed towards me. He gave me a “Danish,” [dansk skalle, hitting someone on the head using your own head] and I hit the wall and dropped my glasses,” Vilks says to TT.
The Uppsala Nya Tidning photographer, who was on the scene, describes the situation as extremely tense.
According to Vilks the man belonged to a group that tried to disturb the seminar. Vilks was taken to safety after the assault.
“I’m not injured, just a bit bruised.”
The seminar was broadcast by Uppsala Nya Tidning on the net.
The group that the man belongs consists of Muslims, says Vilks.
TT: How do you know that they are Muslims?
“They shouted “Mohammed, Mohammed,” says Vilks
He says that the pandemonium was still going on at around 18:00. The seminar was about Vilks’ own art projects and the topic of art and freedom of speech.
“My seminar in Jönköping was cancelled before I could hold the session, and now it has happened here. I am being stopped by physical violence, and I think it’s problematic if a mob is in charge,” he says.
The police were watching the event. A police officer was assaulted during the pandemonium.
“A crowd rushed forward. When a policeman tried to stop them he was attacked. As of now, two persons are in custody,” says Tommy Karlsson, commanding officer of the police in Uppsala county.
The two arrested persons are in their twenties, Uppsala Nya Tidning reports. A third was taken into custody for “disturbing the peace”.

Not in America. Because of the American freedom of speech clause in the US constitution Americans have far more freedom. The American firm Amazon.com openly and publicly sells, “How Fatima Started Islam: Mohammad’s Daughter Tells It All” with no court contests or protests. The book depicts Mohammad as a fly attracting, drunken, pimp who owns ‘ Mohammad’s Saloon & Brothel’ and regularly molests children and camels. His daughter Fatima is the brains behind the founding of the religion which she starts to get out of having to service clients at her father’s brothel. She describes him as a slow-witted, cowardly crackpot not interested in anything except booze and young children. This book could not be sold in Bagdad.

Actually it happens in America commonly. Search for this video, ‘Israeli ambassador shouted down at University in California’ or, Wafa Sultan prevented from giving speech at US university. In fact, I think all those are here on this site. And thats just two. Many people who say things unpopular with Muslims are prevented from doing so in the US and with less consequences to those in Sweden. At least those thugs got pepper sprayed.
The US not only is not immune, but it is seemingly becoming complicit in its failure to protect and enforce the 1st amendment.

Crude Translation: Strong man is not one who fights, but one who controls himself when angry.
Prophet Muhammad, we know when he was attacked verbally or physically, when people threw stones and rubbish on him, he never got angry or fought back. When his companions got angry and tried defending him, he strongly stopped them.
At end of the day, this is very sad. He is a nobody, and by attacking him, he became somebody. Any publicity is good publicity. And it just portrays Muslims as unstable, angry, intolerant and thick people.
If I was there, I would debated and discussed with this person what are his intentions to waste his and our time with such useless work? What value he adds to Sweden or humanity?
The individuals in the video supported the artists sickening cause.

Call For Resistance.
You are a member of a free society,
having inherited freedom of expression,
freedom of thought, and freedom of word,
and yet you sit back with a bemused smile
on your surprised, peaceful face,
when a fellow citizen-artist-lecturer
presents his case of why you are free,
and what it means to be so,
when he is suddenly interrupted to silence,
and physically attacked by ‘certain others’
from a culture unappreciative of freedom…
‘certain others’ living at your society’s largesse…
‘certain others’ you met with open arms
and a welcome to your land of refuge
from political and religious tyranny…
‘certain others’ who now pay you back
with psychological and physical intimidation,
and even attacks on your fellow citizens.
You sit in your chair, paralyzed,
and hypnotized at the strange proceedings
taking place in front of your eyes,
and you do nothing to defend your rights…
you do nothing to defend his right to express!
He draws a cartoon of a deranged ‘prophet’-
he speaks of sanctioned pedophilia-
he shows a picture of woman, enslaved-
he caricaturizes the inanities of Islam,
all to enlighten you and to warn you,
that unless you stand up to defend the freedom
for which our precious, secularized Western democracies
have sacrificed lives down through centuries,
you will be lulled to sleep and surrender.
It is the duty of freedom-loving citizens
to be aware of those ‘certain others’
who plant themselves in an audience
only to wait for the moment of attack,
and you must be aware of the possibility
that you may be called upon to defend
that which your fellow freedom-loving
citizen-artist-lecturer present to you,
and this means that if you attend
such a lecture on freedom,
that you must be ready to physically
defend his personal safety and integrity,
and thereby make a statement of your own
commitment to our principles of freedom.
Are you ready to make that statement,
and when the trouble starts in front of you,
are you ready to commit yourself?
If those ‘certain others’ see violence
as a way to force their religious dogma
on you and your society,
are you ready to meet force with force,
and are you ready to stand up for freedom?
You may say that it is the job of the police
to protect and serve and prosecute,
but the police won’t always be present
when those ‘certain others’ decide to attack,
and so it is incumbent upon you to be the
defender, the server, the prosecutor,
and make the sacrifice for your children.
If you remain silent and un-protective
of those who dare speak the case for freedom,
your children will ask: “And what did you do?”

It is now the bigger “sourcebook” on that subject, with often unpublished documents: Muhammad biographies (SIRA), the main books of traditions (HADITH) , muslim chronicles (TABARI…), companions biographies (TABAQAT), quranic verses, quranic commentaries (TAFSIR). It is sometimes funny, or stupid, ugly, frightening, but always interesting!
A new version is now available, improved and corrected: around 3700 pages. We are working for a new version published every year.
All is in french. so sorry. but you need to read it to understand muslim thinking and acts. It is a rare opportunity to reach genuine information from islamic doctrinal texts.
Now, you won’t tell again: we just don’t know…
