…Geert Wilders has been asked not to come to the UK to screen Fitna on Thursday, due to ‘internal security concerns’. Here is a link to the actual letter sent from the ‘UK Border Agency’ to Mr Wilders, courtesy of Gates of Vienna.
It’s a shame we never had those security concerns when the government invited hundreds of thousands of Muslim immigrants against the will of the public…
But in any case, Mr Wilders says he will still come. Will the authorities have the gall to arrest him at the airport? That will undoubtedly delight many European Muslims and leftists, but it will also draw worldwide attention to Mr Wilders, his cause, and just how weak and feeble the British government has become, as well as making us an international laughing stock.
What also amuses and infuriates me is the government generally pleads impotence on all EU related matters; suddenly they have the confidence to talk of barring or arresting an elected MP from another EU nation, despite the protests of that nation’s government. If I was a cynic, I’d find that a little suspicious.

SW1A 2AAIf enough people protest it might give our public servants an idea of the strength of feeling over this, thus preventing any further embarrassment to the British people.
For once in my life, I find myself crossing my fingers that someone will invoke the protection of the ubiquitous European Human Rights Act. However, as Mr Wilders is not a convicted criminal, an illegal immigrant or an Imam, I don’t hold out much hope for his cause.
Perhaps he should compromise and agree to stick to actions which are slightly less controversial whilst here, like attacking the police or screaming for the next Holocaust.
This works for some people.

Ok, i COULD write.
But write what to say what ?
Most of the people reading “you can write” will NOT write, because they do not know WHAT to write.
If they had YOUR ability to write, and time, they would have their own blog and an article to support wilders.
Fact is that MOST of your readers DO NOT have any blog, meaning that they DO NOT have either the ability to write nore the time to write, or both.
That’s why they come to YOUR blog to read YOUR words.
BUT THEY HAVE A PRINTER along with the ability to print YOUR words (= your article), and time to do it because printing a page is just a question of SECONDS.
BE REALISTIC AND EFFICIENT, apply the SITAmnesty method : just add the following paragraph below at the end of your article to turn ALL your readers into people able to send a letter. Those able to send their own letter with their own words will do it anyway.

I have written three blog posts about this incident, and have just received 3 replies from MPs and Euro MPs forwarded to me from other bloggers. If anyone else has a reply from their MP yet, please also forward to me. I will update the page as more information comes in. It also has links to other blogs and youtube videos of MPs defending and supporting the decision.
